As I continue to work on several “human” photography projects (which I will be sharing very soon), I just had to post some pic’s I took this week of my friends’ family’s newest addition.

Her name is “Ellie.” She’s a French Bulldog and she’s even cuter in person, if you can believe it. And she’s a comedian, too. Ellie tried to act brave with Marley, but all it took was a look from Mar and she would head for the hills. She would bark … occasionally … and from afar. We’ll get them together again soon – I think they’ll be buds soon.

I cannot believe it has almost been TWO WEEKS since my last post! I’m such a slacker! Actually, I have a pretty good excuse – not only have I been extremely busy with various photography jobs and volunteer activities (enter pity sigh here …), but Marley has not been feeling well for the last week. In fact, he’s been pretty sick.

Marley is just about back to form, fortunately. It’s been a while since I’ve captured any pictures with my trusty Canon point & shoot, but here are a few of the Mar-man from just before he started feeling under the weather.

Marley could teach us all a thing or two about living life. For Mar, frisbee = happy . . . VERY happy!

For my first entry I thought it was appropriate to share some pictures of my boy, Marley! Or, as he’s also affectionately known by many of my friends – Mar Bar, Mar Man, Blue . . . I may be partial but I’m fairly certain Mar would be a shoe-in for K-9 MENSA! Yes, he has brains and looks . . . I am jealous!

The pup pic was taken when Mar was about 10 weeks old . . . and now he’s pushing 7! Wow, time flies! I’m also beginning to wonder if I may have taken too many pictures of the poor guy as he’s grown up – he’s really over the camera now . . .
